  • Traditional off-grid electricity solutions (typically generators powered by petroleum or diesel) are expensive and create both air and noise pollution

Liquidstar is developing a Decentralized Autonomous Utility that augments existing generation and grid infrastructure with portable, rentable smart batteries called “Sun Buckets.” Replacing expensive traditional grids and liquid fuel with Mobile Virtual Grids, it is the future of energy for the 1.1 billion people across the world who have no electricity and the many more who lack reliable energy.

Liquidstar uses Blockpass; a blockchain-based, zero-knowledge proof identity protocol for regulated industries and the Internet of Everything (IoE). Liquidstar uses Blockpass to connect HUMAN+COMPANY+DEVICE identities to produce a low friction, highly efficient Decentralized Autonomous Utility (DAU) for swappable battery sharing.

Blockpass is a secure and interoperable conduit between all major identity profiles:

  • Humans (energy consumers)

  • Companies (energy producer, service stations, Power Rangers, etc.)

  • Devices (battery/Sun Bucket)
